Summary
Due to the expansion of the Government funded hours to 9+ month olds we are looking to recruit an enthusiastic Nursery Practitioner to join our friendly team. You should be ideally level 3 qualified with a relevant childcare qualification or level 2 with a willingness to further study to level 3. We are looking for full time/part time positions, all year round between the hours of 7.30am-5.30pm. The ideal candidate should have experience with under 5's in a similar setting, ideally with under 2's. This position will mainly be in our baby room providing our under 2's with outstanding care and education, however, you could be seconded to other age groups if required or to give 1-1 support if a child needs it. You should be able to work alone or in a team in a fast paced environment. You should be able to provide a nurturing and serene environment when required during the day and be confident enough to speak to parents, giving feedback and receiving messages. You should have a good command of English and basic IT skills. Your qualification must be relevant to Early years for example Early Years Educator, Cache working with children and young people, NNEB etc. Please do not apply if you hold a Health and Social care, teaching and learning in schools qualification as these are not relevant.
