Clinical Research Fellow in Infectious Diseases
The University of Southampton (UoS), in partnership with University Hospital Southampton NHS Foundation Trust (UHS), is looking to recruit a clinical research fellow in infectious diseases.
The successful candidate will work part time as clinical research fellow supporting Professor Clark in his NIHR funded research programme on rapid diagnostic tests.

In this context, we are looking to appoint an outstanding clinical research fellow to support the expansion of infectious diseases research including the assessment of rapid diagnostic tests for infection.

The Trust is a major centre for teaching and research. We provide a high quality care for patients with severe and complex infection through the infectious diseases and microbiology service.
What we are looking for
A dynamic, self-motivated, clinically trained individual to contribute to and deliver a programme of clinical infectious diseases research.
Applicants must have
MBBS or equivalent, MRCP or equivalent, completion of Core Medical Training (CMT) or equivalent and research experience supported by high quality publications and other research outputs/impacts.
Non-UK applicants must demonstrate equivalent training.
