Accounts Assistant – Part-Time (Temporary to Permanent) – Coleshill
Bespoke Career Solutions are recruiting for an Accounts Assistant to join a well-established and growing business based in the Coleshill area. This is a part-time Accounts Assistant position offered on a temporary basis with a clear opportunity to become permanent for the right candidate. This role would suit an experienced Accounts Assistant or Finance Assistant who is looking for flexible working hours and long-term stability.
As an Accounts Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the finance function and ensuring day-to-day accounting processes run smoothly. The Accounts Assistant role will involve working closely with internal teams and providing accurate, timely financial administration. This position is ideal for someone with previous accounts experience who is confident working in a fast-paced environment.
The main duties of the Accounts Assistant will include processing purchase and sales invoices, managing the purchase ledger and sales ledger, reconciling supplier statements, handling queries, and supporting month-end procedures. You will also assist with general accounts administration, data entry, and maintaining accurate financial records. Attention to detail and the ability to manage deadlines are essential for success in this Accounts Assistant role.
This part-time Accounts Assistant position offers an hourly rate of £13.00 to £15.00 per hour, depending on experience. Working hours will be part-time and can be discussed to suit both business needs and candidate availability. The role is initially temporary, with the intention of becoming permanent following a successful probation period.
To be considered for this Accounts Assistant vacancy, you should have previous experience in an accounts or finance support role, be comfortable using accounting software and Microsoft Excel, and have strong organisational and communication skills. Experience in roles such as Finance Assistant, Accounts Administrator or Purchase Ledger Clerk would be advantageous.
