TeacherActive is proud to be working with a range of schools and alternative provisions across Oldham, who are looking to appoint qualified Tutors to support pupils on a 1:1 and small-group basis.

These roles are ideal for teachers who enjoy targeted teaching, building strong relationships, and making a measurable impact on pupil progress outside of the traditional classroom environment.

The role will involve:

• Delivering tailored tuition in core subjects (English, Maths and/or Science)

  
  

• Working 1:1 or with small groups of pupils

  
  

• Supporting learners who may be disengaged, have SEND, SEMH needs, or are accessing alternative provision

  
  

• Planning and adapting lessons to meet individual learning needs

  
  

• Tracking progress and providing clear feedback

  
  

  We are looking for Tutors who:

  • Hold QTS or QTLS (essential)

    
    

  • Have experience working with KS2, KS3 and/or KS4 pupils

    
    

  • Are confident adapting teaching approaches to suit different learning styles

    
    

  • Have strong behaviour management and relationship-building skills

    
    

  • Can commit to regular, consistent sessions
