This is an exciting opportunity to join a busy student-facing team with a varied and interesting workload. The Faculty’s PGR Administration Hub supports our postgraduate research students to achieve the aims and objectives of their research and get the most out of their time with us. You will provide crucial support to ensure that the administrative and supervisory teams provide the best service possible to all our students, helping them to succeed both in terms of their professional and personal development. We are looking for a highly organised individual who is able to work to deadlines and works well in a team environment. The Faculty is working to provide the best student experience possible for our postgraduate researchers and to increase our student numbers in line with the University’s strategy. This position will support these aims through the provision of an efficient administrative system to facilitate a successful student journey.
You will be adaptable and enthusiastic with a helpful manner, be able to act with discretion and diplomacy and to work collaboratively to provide an excellent customer service. We are looking for someone who will have a real commitment to the role, excellent time management skills and who is able to work on their own initiative, working methodically with a high level of accuracy, attention to detail and able to work at pace.
