Summary
We are seeking a dedicated K9 Security Officer WITH OWN DOG to join our security team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling and caring for a trained security dog, conducting patrols, and ensuring the safety of clients and property. This role requires strong discipline, reliability, and a passion for working with animals in a security environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Handle and manage a trained K9 unit in security operations.
Conduct patrols of assigned areas, both on foot and in vehicles.
Detect and respond to security threats, intrusions, and suspicious activities.
Maintain the health, hygiene, and training of the YOUR K9.
Prepare incident reports and maintain accurate logs of daily activities.
Respond promptly and appropriately to emergencies.
Collaborate with other security personnel and law enforcement as needed.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a K9 handler or in a related security role.
Certification in K9 handling and training is highly desirable.
Valid security license.
Strong physical fitness and the ability to handle challenging situations.
Excellent observational and communication skills.
Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Passion for working with dogs and ensuring their well-being.
