We are looking to fill a full-time post at a Local Mental Health Team covering the City East area of Nottingham. Our core business hours are 09:00-17:00.
Please note applicants willbe requiredto pay for their DBS check. Costs are deducted from salary following appointment. The cost of the DBS application is £26.40 (standard) or £54.40 (enhanced), this cost will be deducted from your salary over the first 2 months of employment.
You are encouraged to enrol for the DBS Update Service. An annual fee of £16 per year applies.
We are seeking a proactive, compassionate, caring and recovery focused Occupational Therapy Assistant with excellent communication skills to join our existing dynamic multidisciplinary Local Mental Health Team. The post- holder will work alongside our experienced Occupational Therapist’s to offer interventions that promote recovery, enabling patients to live their best life.

This post is both rewarding and a vital role towards the delivery of treatment to our patients in the City East area.
To implement the high-quality Occupational Therapy intervention plans collaboratively with the patients in their own homes and local environments, alongside the qualified staff.
Profession specific and clinical supervision will be provided by an identified Occupational Therapist.
A full UK driving licence and vehicle for business use is required for this post; however reasonable adjustments will be made for disabled individuals in line with the Equality Act 2010.
