Role Overview:
We are seeking a motivated geoscientist, with GIS skills preferably (also full training given) to manage the compilation and maintenance of a regional oil, gas and energy activity database.
Key Responsibilities;
Oil, gas, energy and geology data research for a given region
Data conditioning, compilation and ingestion
Daily reporting on E&P and energy activity
Monthly reporting on E&P and energy activity
Continuous updates to the NVentures GIS and corporate databases
Creating regular activity maps, image layers and geological summary maps
Contribute to the global reporting coverage with the NVentures team
Requirements:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in GIS, Geography, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Preferred experience in SQL, GIS or similar technical environments.
Proficiency in GIS software (e.g., ArcGIS, AGOL, QGIS) and data visualization tools.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective client and team interactions.
An eye for detail and concern for accuracy and database completeness
Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and prioritise tasks efficiently.
