Responsibilities
Conduct detailed diagnostics of building structures to identify defects and issues.
Prepare comprehensive reports and documentation based on findings from inspections.
Advise clients on building regulations, safety standards, and compliance issues.
Collaborate with architects, engineers, and clients to develop effective remedial strategies.
Conduct site visits and assessments for new construction and renovation projects.
Mentor and supervise junior surveyors, providing guidance and support in their professional development.
Stay updated on industry trends, building codes, and legislative changes affecting the surveying profession.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Building Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
Professional membership in a recognized surveying or engineering institution.
Proven experience in building diagnostics and defect analysis.
Strong understanding of building regulations, construction methods, and health and safety practices.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills for client and team interactions.
Proficiency in relevant surveying software and tools for data collection and reporting.
Hours Per Week: 35.00
Start Time: 08:00
End Time: 16:00
Pay Per Hour: £33.80
