Start: January 2026
ANZUK Education is partnering with an Outstanding special school in North London that supports pupils with a wide range of complex needs, including PMLD, significant physical disabilities, sensory needs and complex medical conditions. The school offers a calm, nurturing environment and benefits from a highly skilled multidisciplinary team - therapists, medical staff and specialist practitioners, working closely together to deliver individualised, holistic learning.
We are looking for a warm, adaptable Teaching Assistant to join a small class supporting pupils with profound and multiple learning disabilities as well as other complex needs. The role involves engaging pupils in sensory-based activities, supporting communication systems such as AAC, eye-gaze technology and objects of reference, and helping to create an environment where every child feels safe, encouraged and understood.
You will also support with personal care, safe positioning and mobility, as well as implementing therapy programmes designed by physiotherapists and occupational therapists. You will work closely with an experienced class teacher and a supportive team who value creativity, patience and a relationship-first approach.
