Where will you be working?
We help our clients safeguard the water supply, improve environmental performance and manage demand for future generations. We enhance and extend asset life, ensuring compliance with water quality and environmental standards. We’re problem solvers with over 140 years of combined experience in engineering and infrastructure.
This role will be within our water and wastewater capital project delivery team. Our teams deliver large-scale capital programmes aimed at keeping water infrastructure resilient for the long-term while protecting the environment.

What will you be doing?

- Project Coordination – Overseeing daily site operations, ensuring work is carried out according to plans, schedules, and specifications.
- Health & Safety Compliance – Enforce safety regulations, conduct risk assessments, and ensure all workers follow proper procedures.
- Resource Management – Organise labour, materials, and equipment efficiently to avoid delays and control costs.
- Quality Control – Monitor construction standards, inspect work regularly, and ensure compliance with building codes and client requirements.
- Stakeholder Communication – Act as the main point of contact between contractors, subcontractors, clients, and consultants.
- Documentation & Reporting – Maintain accurate records of progress, incidents, budgets, and provide regular updates to senior management.
What they’ll bring
Proven experience in managing water infrastructure projects, particularly rising main renewals, with strong knowledge of pipeline construction, replacement techniques, and utility coordination. Skilled in overseeing contractors, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental standards, and delivering projects on time and within budget. Demonstrated ability to manage stakeholder communication, resolve site challenges, and maintain quality assurance throughout project delivery.
