Summary
We are currently recruiting for an experienced production operative to work in the Stoke-on-Trent area.
As a production operative, duties will include:
- Weighing and bagging glass powder into 25kg bags and palatalising customer orders.
- Grinding raw materials via ball mills and sieving ground products.
- Sampling finished products for internal testing, completing associated paperwork.
- Working at high temperatures when glass manufacturing
- Processing finished materials for dispatch to customers
The ideal candidate will have previous production experience, ideally in a glass, chemical or steel industry. Be physically fit due to the nature of the role and looking for a long term opportunity. A valid counterbalance licence would be advantageous.
