Summary
ZAM FM are seeking vigilant and dedicated Contractor Securitys Escort to join our team. The primary responsibility of the Security Escort is to ensure the safety and security of contractors within designated areas in a high-security hospital environment, providing a reassuring presence while monitoring for any potential security threats. This role requires a keen eye for detail and the ability to respond effectively to various situations, ensuring a secure environment for all.
Duties
Escort contractors safely through the high-security hospital premises, particularly in high-risk or sensitive areas whilst ensuring that the contractors work safely and efficiently, managing tool inventories and conducting thorough searches of the work area to ensure the highest standard of contractor, staff and patient safety.
Respond promptly to alarms and emergencies, providing assistance when necessary.
Maintain accurate inventory registers, works reports and time management in line with the high-security hospital operating procedures.
Collaborate with client management and emergency services when required.
Requirements
Proven experience in security roles or related fields is preferred.
Excellent observational skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively maintain accurate inventory registers and works reports.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a dynamic environment.

Potential candidates MUST possess a valid SIA Door Supervisor or Close Protection license. All applications from applicants without the appropriate license will be rejected.
Due to the semi-remote nature of the client's site, this position would suit a driver or someone with the willingness to car share.
The ability to communicate clearly over hand-held radios as well as provide legible written reports is ESSENTIAL therefore the ability to speak, write and read the English language is of the upmost importance. This WILL be tested in the interview stage and candidates who don't meet the required standard will be rejected.
Potential candidates must possess or be willing to complete an Enhanced DBS check with access to live check service.
Successful applicant will require site specific training and inductions and a printed copy of their enhanced DBS certificate to be eligible to commence employment.
