About the role We are seeking a Programme Administrator to join our Animal Management team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting the smooth running of our curriculum area and ensuring an exceptional learner experience. As Programme Administrator, you will provide efficient and effective administrative support to the department. You will act as the first point of contact for student, parent, and guardian queries, maintain accurate student records, and assist with key processes such as graduation, work experience placements, and departmental events.
Key responsibilities: Managing and updating student records and results on internal systems Providing timely and accurate information to students, parents, and staff. Supporting the Curriculum Area Manager with agendas, minutes, purchase orders, and general administration. Assisting with the coordination of graduation and departmental events. Maintaining accurate databases and producing professional reports. Supporting course managers with work experience placements and study tours.
The successful candidate will: Minimum Level 2 in Maths and English (Grade C/4 or equivalent). Educated to Level 3 or significant experience in an administrative role. Strong IT skills, including proficiency in MS Office and database systems. Excellent organisational and communication skills with the ability to prioritise tasks. A proactive, customer-focused approach and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
