Summary
Location: Chester HQ (with regional travel to our locations)
Salary: £30,000 to £32,000 per annum.

About the Maintenance Technician Role:
As a Maintenance Technician, you’ll be essential in keeping our buildings, facilities, and equipment in top condition. You’ll assist with repairs, inspections, preventative maintenance, furniture assembly, painting, decorating, and support operational tasks across our Chester HQ and wider UK estate. This is a varied, hands-on role, perfect for someone who loves to get involved and make a real difference.
What You’ll Do:
Conduct inspections of company facilities to identify maintenance or repair needs
Assist with plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general maintenance tasks
Collaborate with external contractors to schedule and oversee repairs
Support preventative maintenance programs and monitor facilities systems
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment inventories
Review and follow RAMS for all tasks and projects
Respond promptly to facilities-related emergencies
Support office moves, refurbishments, and desk planning
Assist with furniture assembly, painting, decorating, and smaller building projects
Monitor and manage inventory of parts, supplies, and equipment
Contribute to sustainability initiatives, such as waste and plastic reduction
Support wider maintenance teams with ad hoc projects as required
What You’ll Bring:
✅ Relevant experience coordinating hard services within a corporate office or multi-site environment
✅ Problem-solving skills and a customer-focused approach
✅ Knowledge of building systems, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general maintenance
✅ Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
✅ A full, clean UK Driving Licence (please declare if you have any points).

➡️ Experience using an automated FM system
➡️ Health & Safety knowledge or relevant experience
➡️ Experience supporting sustainability or operational improvement projects
