Summary
Duties Description-
1. Source, evaluate, and negotiate with food, beverage, and supply vendors.
2. Monitor inventory levels and maintain optimal stock for kitchen and bar operations.
3. Place and track purchase orders to ensure timely delivery of all products.
4. Maintain strong supplier relationships and resolve delivery or quality issues.
5. Inspect incoming goods for accuracy, freshness, and quality standards.
6. Control food and beverage costs by monitoring pricing and minimizing waste.
7. Keep accurate purchasing records, invoices, and compliance documentation.
8. Collaborate with chefs and bar managers to forecast needs and plan menus.
9. Analyze sales trends to adjust purchasing strategies and maintain par levels.
10. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and alcohol purchasing requirements
