Your new role
As an interim IT Procurement Specialist, you will provide professional and executive procurement support, managing end-to-end procurement for major equipment, works, goods, and services. You'll work closely with stakeholders to deliver procurement priorities, oversee supplier performance and contribute to the ongoing development of procurement strategy. Responsibilities include spend analysis, supplier relationship management, contract management, and supporting the implementation of streamlined, compliant procurement processes.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Minimum 1 year of experience procuring in IT/Digital category/commodity
  • Minimum 3 years' experience of UK public sector procurement (Scotland preferred)
  • Experience of working in a large organisation
  • Good to excellent commercial acumen
  • Good to excellent report writing skills
  • Good to excellent project management
  • Good to excellent stakeholder management
  • Must be able to work 2 days in the office per week - Monday and Wednesdays to be alongside immediate IS colleagues.
  • 35 hours per week (typical hours are 9am-5pm)
