Summary

Conveyancing Solicitor / Licensed Conveyancer

Great Malvern, Worcestershire (Hybrid) | Office & Remote | Full Time | Competitive Salary

Our client is a forward-thinking and growing law firm offering a broad range of legal services, with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality, supportive and client-focused experience. As part of their expansion, they are now seeking a Conveyancing Solicitor or Licensed Conveyancer to help establish and shape a dedicated conveyancing department within the firm.

This is a rare opportunity for someone early in their career or an experienced conveyancer looking to take the next step to play an influential role in developing and strengthening the firm’s conveyancing function. While there is potential progression towards becoming a Senior Conveyancer and possibly Head of Department as the team grows, this will depend on performance and future business needs.

The firm would ideally like someone licensed/qualified, but will also consider strong junior–mid level candidates who have solid residential conveyancing experience.

Are you the right person for the job?

• Experience in residential sales, purchases, and basic transfers
• Exposure to probate and trust-related property sales (desirable)
• Ability to handle panel applications, ID checks, and transaction progression
• Ambition to take ownership of contributing to — and developing — a conveyancing department
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage a varied caseload
• Excellent communication and client-handling skills
• Confident using conveyancing systems and legal software

What will your role look like?

• Manage residential conveyancing files from opening through to post-completion
• Handle sales, purchases, transfers, and probate-related property transactions
• Support trust-related conveyancing matters
• Assist with lender panel applications and related administrative processes
• Work closely with the firm’s leadership to design workflows and help build an efficient department
• Ensure full compliance with SRA and AML requirements
• Contribute to business development and help expand the firm’s conveyancing offering
• Hybrid working pattern, typically 2–3 days per week in the office

What can you expect in return?

• Competitive salary
• 24 days holiday + 8 bank holidays
• Hybrid working (office and remote)
• Potential progression into a Senior Conveyancer role and, depending on the firm
• growth, possible future leadership opportunities
• Supportive, collaborative working environment with accessible leadership
• Standard working hours: 9 am–5 pm, Monday to Friday
