Summary

Are you detail-oriented, organised, and ready to make an impact in a fast-paced environment? At Pricecheck, we’re seeking a Product and Buying Administrator to join our Operations team, where you’ll support our buyers in ensuring our department runs smoothly and efficiently!

Role Overview:

Full-Time - Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm.
You must be within commutable distance to Beighton, S20 1DJ.
2 Days WFH is available on completion of 6 month probation.

As a Product and Buying Administrator, you’ll play a vital role in our Operations team, collaborating with the Buying team to manage day-to-day administrative tasks. Your contributions will be key in keeping our operations running seamlessly!

What You Will Be Doing:

-Bring structure and routine to the team by managing scheduled tasks and providing ad hoc support to your partnered Buyers and Assistant Buyers.
-Process purchase orders with precision, ensuring they’re entered into our order system promptly and accurately.
-Follow up on line forms from suppliers to gather the most up-to-date essential information.
-Manage documentation for efficient import and export of stock, preventing hold-ups at customs.
-Stay on top of expected delivery dates by using the “POs due report,” chasing suppliers for updates, and amending revised dates in our systems.
-Arrange the collection and transportation of goods from suppliers by obtaining necessary paperwork, such as invoices and packing lists, to enable our logistics team to secure quotes.
-Oversee stock received into the business by reviewing and approving the “checking in” process on our warehouse management system. Address any discrepancies and ensure quality control data is accurate.
-Maintain up-to-date supplier and contact information in our systems, ensuring smooth communication.
-Ensure our stock management system is accurate, with current descriptions, expiry dates, photographs, country of origin, and retail selling prices.

Essential Requirements:
-A confident communicator, both verbally and in writing.
-Exceptional attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
-Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel for handling data.
-Flexible and able to prioritise a changing to-do list effectively.
-Thrives in a fast-paced environment and can meet tight deadlines.
-Adaptable to change and open to learning new processes.
-A team player who can also take initiative and seek out better ways of doing things.
-A positive attitude that contributes to a collaborative work environment.
