Training and Development Officer – Adult Services
Description
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Training and Development Officer for our Adult Services Care Worker team. Responsibilities
Design and develop training programs for Adult Services Care Workers.
Conduct needs assessments to identify training gaps and opportunities for staff development.
Facilitate training sessions, workshops, and seminars for care workers.
Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make recommendations for improvements.
Stay updated on industry standards, best practices, and regulatory requirements in adult care services.
Collaborate with management to align training initiatives with organizational goals and objectives.
Maintain accurate records of training activities and employee progress.
Requirements
Proven experience in training and development, preferably in a healthcare or social services setting.
Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with diverse groups.
Ability to assess training needs and develop tailored programs accordingly.
Experience with e-learning platforms and digital training tools.
Knowledge of compliance and regulatory standards related to adult care services.
A relevant degree or professional qualification in training, education, social work, or a related field.
Hours Per Week: 36.00
Start Time: 09:00
End Time: 17:00
Pay Per Hour: £23.37
