Summary
To undertake radiographic examinations using analytical, judgementaland physical skills to achieve the appropriate high quality image. To liaise with referrers and service users to maintain an efficient service To assist referring Emergency Nurse Practitioners in the Minor InjuryUnit by employing the Red Dot Scheme for identifying abnormalappearances on x-ray images. To use the CRIS radiology information system for patient management,data collection and storage. To use PACS for data management andstorage. The information on both these systems is shared with othersites. To be aware of the Trusts emergency planning processes and followsuch processes as necessary in the event of a sudden unexpectedincident To work with the Radiology Team Lead to ensure the day to day smoothrunning of the department including absence cover To take responsibility for Health & Safety issues and reporting within thedepartment To undertake training as necessary in line with development of the post To participate fully in the development review (appraisal) process andundertake Continuing Professional Development as required. To participate in the out of hours radiographer rota at UckfieldCommunity Hospital
