Summary
This is a 10 PA appointment for a Consultant Gynaecologist. The post will be based at St Jamess University Hospital. This post has been created to lead and help deliver the Colposcopy Service in Leeds. There will also be an expectation to support the local cancer service managing early endometrial cancers and borderline ovarian lesions. 2. OBJECTIVES OF THE POST We are looking for dynamic, passionate, innovative and driven applicants to join and complement the existing team in Leeds. The successful applicant will provide gynaecological care in the following areas: Colposcopy service (and Lead Colposcopist) Gynaecology clinic Gynaecology Acute Treatment Unit (GATU) Ambulatory Gynaecology Operating Theatre. The successful applicant will be part of a friendly, hard-working and motivated team dedicated to the recovery of gynaecological services and the continuous development, improvement and delivery of excellent gynaecological care There will be encouraged and supported to participate in exciting, innovative and new service development projects within the department according to service requirements and the individuals special interests and skills.
