Are you passionate about conservation and public engagement?
Do you want to work in one of the most beautiful parts of the country?
Cannock Chase Special Area of Conservation (SAC) sits in the heart of Cannock Chase National Landscape, Staffordshire. It covers just under 5 square miles and is protected principally for its internationally important heathland habitats
The Cannock Chase SAC Partnership is looking to recruit two enthusiastic and highly motivated individuals who will spend most of their time outside on the SAC to deliver our key messages and public engagement programme to site visitors as well as carry out important monitoring activities across the SAC.
The Engagement Wardens will support the other SAC Officers in delivery of the SAMMM (Strategic Access Management and Monitoring Measures) by engaging with visitors, assist in monitoring impacts, providing information and encouraging visitors to protect and conserve the heathland by enjoying it without risking further habitat damage.
If you are looking for an interesting and varied outdoor role in an outstanding natural environment within a friendly and professional team this is the opportunity for you.
