About the role

This is an exciting opportunity for a Community Projects Officer to join the Communities and Projects Team on a temporary basis to cover Maternity Leave. We expect this role to commence in late February 2026 and end on 31 December 2026.

You’ll focus on planning and delivering projects that will offer opportunities for Rugby Borough Council tenants to improve outcomes in our social housing, and supporting our communities to be more independent, financially inclusive, healthy, and to realise their potential.

About you

We’re looking for someone who’s a genuine people person who has experience in planning and managing projects with a desire to improve outcomes for our tenants and communities.

You’ll be great at persuading and influencing others while building and maintaining effective professional relationships at a variety of levels both internally and externally.

A full driving license and access to your own vehicle is also required.
