Are you ready to keep our county moving?

Join our Highways team as a Street Works &Permit Coordinator, where you’ll play a vital role in managing and coordinating street works and permits to minimize disruption and keep our roads safe and efficient.


What you’ll do: Coordinate major works and permit applications, ensuring compliance with legislation.

Manage street works registers, inspections, and enforcement under the Traffic Management Act and NRSWA.


Liaise with utility companies and contractors to resolve conflicts and maintain smooth operations.


Oversee licensing for skips, scaffolding, and temporary traffic measures.


What we’re looking for: ONC or equivalent knowledge in a relevant subject.



Strong understanding of traffic management legislation and permitting systems.



Experience with NRSWA, coordination of works, and enforcement processes.



Excellent communication, IT skills, and ability to interpret technical drawings.



Organised, collaborative, and committed to high standards of safety and service.
