Impact Futures and The Childcare Company have a brand-new opportunity for a passionate individual who want to make an Impact in
the future of our apprenticeships' learners, to join our team as Lead IQA - Childcare.
The role is hybrid, a blend between working from home and travelling occasionally to our offices in Birmingham and Bristol.

The Role:

The purpose of this role is to manage the IQA element within the organisation including the line management of the IQAs,
reviewing, implementing and monitoring the processes and systems, and building on recent improvements to ensure we are meeting all
awarding organisations expectations and are moving towards OFSTED ‘Outstanding’. Working with the Head of Assurance, this role
will support the coordination of sampling, actioning and reporting to ensure our IQAs are fully supported to meet their
responsibilities to the highest standard.




The role will involve:


* Work closely with the Head of Assurance to monitor the quality of delivery and report any changes in assurance and compliance
trends.
* Identify and provide feedback to IQAs, around performance and support to develop skills, knowledge and competency to fulfil
their role and to ensure systems and processes are being followed.
* Ensure sector IQAs plan and carry out regular sampling of their DCs assessments in a timely manner to facilitate the
development of a highly skilled and effective delivery team.
* Monitor and support the IQA team with any contribution to DC performance reviews to

* Escalate any IQA concerns to the Head of Assurance
* Allocate IQAs to new DC’s and, working with the Quality team, coordinate effective IQA support for DCs

About you:


• IQA qualified
• Assessor qualified
• Level 3 Management qualification (or the willingness to work towards)
• Approval to deliver/IQA up to L5 within your sector
• Demonstrable experience of driving quality improvements
• Strong knowledge of funding rules
• Strong knowledge of OFSTED Education Inspection Framework
• Strong people management and coaching skills
