Summary
A female PA needed for a Monday for an older lady who suffers with Mental health issues.
There could be extra hours- to help cover A/L for the other PA if you want to.
The PA needs to be kind and understanding, outgoing and loves chatting. She must have good English as individual has a speech impairment so someone who can tune in is importànt.
She must have good manual handling and is willing to support her needs in different settings. This requires being adaptable and open minded.
PA will be required to assist individual with all aspects of Personal care: feeding, dressing, help with toileting, bathing. They use a bath chair
PA will need to be someone who will enable the individual to live the life the way she chooses and someone with loads of energy as she likes goìng out and doin̈g stuff .
The PA will need to cook good meals, and do meal prep and sometimes assistance with feeding. Be a good companion.
Someone who prefers slow mornings and goes to bed late. Someone who likes being active and engaging, likes swimming. Individual loves going swimming.
If individual gets sick so she would be expected to take me to hospital appointments.
Someone who doesn’t mind helping me physically loves being out and about must be energetic and vibrant.
Someone who actually wants to be in my company and to just live and be happy so we can have meaningful conversations with each other.
They can be older but have similar interests. They need to take me places (for example) my voluntary work on Tuesday- to go shopping and visiting the service users nan. Also I go on holiday a few times a year so they may accompany me.
She needs to love dogs and be warm and affectionate towards them. I have a very feisty french bulldog who lives with me, she is like my child and is very loving and intelligent, Pa will need to assist with the dogs' toileting walking and feeding times and all aspects of her well-being. needs confident firm handling and lots of love. She loves going on long walks together and the dogs well-being is very important to her. She loves playing ball, laying on the sofa and on her terms a cuddle but she has to make the first move.
Roles and Responsibilities
Personal care- In the morning- showering and help with dressing.
Help prepare Breakfast, lunch & dinner.
Accessing community- for a walk/ shops.
Help getting ready for bed.
Helping with medication- 3 times a day.

Individual is independent and she likes good company. The service user always try to live life to the maximum. She can be nervous around new people but once she gets to know someone, shes fine. Individual likes routine . She prefer her house tidy. She is an author and is writing her second book . Individual likes company but sometimes likes her own space. She pushes herself to achieve goals.
