Petites Starz is Ofsted registered which offers an excellent standard of quality childcare and education for children aged 2 years to 5 years. Professionals believe that children learn through plat and experiences therfore they strive too create a fun and stimulating environment for all children. Carers pride themselves on maintaining positive relationships with parents/ carers and hold regular nursery association meetings to encourage parents to contribute their views.
Staff are welcoming and friendly and have a wealth of experience in all aspects of childcare. There is a well resourced and stimulating outdoor area and a variety of extra curricular activities. Healthy snacks are prepared at the site.
They have fluent speakers in French, Somali, Urdu, Turkish and English.

The main responsibilities of this job role will include:
* Working towards Level 3 Childcare Apprenticeship.
* Supporting the development of the childcare provision.
* Providing an excellent range of activities that ensures that the child learns whilst having fun.
* Being a team player.
* Providing challenging and stimulating activities for all children
* Taking part in First Aid training as required
* Responsibility for equal opportunity in delivery, access and attitude in aspects of service delivery
* Working with teams across the nursery setting
* Supporting children’s learning and development.
* Preparing and maintaining the environment and resources for the children.
* Preparation of food for breakfast, snack and afternoon tea.
* Supporting children’s self-help needs.
* Being creative and enthusiastic.
* Following Safeguarding rules and regulations to also meet the Standard of the Childcare Apprenticeship.
Level 3 Early Years Educator:
Your Apprenticeship will last for 14 months. You will be supported by Lead Support Coaches throughout your Apprenticeship, as well as a mentor within the nursery. You will be working full time in the nursery. Your classroom days will be based online as a remote session which you will need to be fully available for, and your main childcare apprenticeship work will be done in a nursery local to you.
You will Maths and English GCSE at Grade 4 or above or equivalent Functional Skills Level 2 and be living in the UK for a minimum of 3 years in order to be eligible.
Expected Career Progression:
Developing into a Level 3 practitioner, with the potential of a full time position upon successful completion. Other prospects could include applying for :
Continuous development in current nursery setting,
* Room Leader positions, management etc
* Springboard into primary education
* Paediatric nursing
