Summary
The appointee must hold accreditation in FRCR in the Royal College of Radiologists or equivalent and have completed higher specialist training (or equivalent) if currently in a training programme within the UK. Applicants must be on the Specialist Register or within six months of being admitted to the Register for trainees if currently in a training programme within the UK or have references which have been authorised by the Deputy Medical Director and Clinical Director. Applicants must provide information regarding their status from the GMC and/or relevant Royal College at the time of application, in order for their application to be progressed further. The appointee must be able to demonstrate a high level of clinical experience and competence in all aspects of Radiology and appropriate experience in Neuroradiology, and in particular Neuroradiology. It is desirable that the candidates have experience in the conduct of clinical trials.
