Summary
9 Month fixed term contract (Maternity cover)
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our dynamic Medical Infusions team within the Specialist Medicine Directorate.
You will work as part of a specialist team of nurses to provide safe, effective and compassionate care for patients attending the Grosvenor Infusion Suite for a wide range of non-chemotherapy systemic therapies. These include biologic infusions, IV antibiotics, iron therapies, electrolyte replacement, IVIG and ambulatory Covid antiviral treatments.
This is an excellent role for a motivated Band 5 nurse seeking to develop advanced clinical skills in a supportive, patient-focused outpatient environment. Full competency-based training will be provided.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed Band 5 Staff Nurse to join the Grosvenor Infusion Unit at St George’s Hospital.
As part of our multidisciplinary team, you will:
* Deliver a high standard of evidence-based nursing care to patients attending for infusion therapies
* Assess, plan and evaluate care under the guidance of senior nursing staff * Safely administer IV infusions in accordance with Trust policies
* Support patients and families with clear communication, education and reassurance
* Contribute to quality improvement, audit and a positive safety culture * Work flexibly across the unit to ensure smooth patient flow and safe service delivery We are seeking someone who is patient-centred, organised, able to work both autonomously and as part of a cohesive team, and committed to delivering excellent clinical care.
