Enthusiastic Teaching Assistant Needed for Year 2 Classroom!

TeacherActive is delighted to be working with a welcoming 2-form entry Primary School in Longbridge, who are seeking a committed Teaching Assistant to provide general classroom support in a Year 2 class. While this is not a designated SEN classroom, the class does include a high number of pupils with additional needs, including Autism and ADHD, so confidence and experience with SEN support is essential.

This is a full-time, long-term role for the entire academic year, offering you the chance to build strong relationships and make a real, lasting impact. Consistency is incredibly important for these pupils, and the school places great value on providing a stable, nurturing environment.

We’re Looking For a Teaching Assistant Who:

  • Has experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs (Autism/ADHD experience highly desirable)


  • Can confidently follow guidance from the class teacher


  • Brings positivity, warmth and patience to the classroom each day


  • Can build strong, nurturing relationships with pupils


  • Is reliable, resilient and committed to helping children feel safe and supported
