Summary
Job responsibilities
Manage day-to-day front-of-house operations: greeting guests, taking reservations, overseeing service flow.
Supervise and support waiting staff on customer service, ensuring high standards of hospitality.
Ensure prompt service, check in with diners regularly, and handle any feedback or issues in a polite and professional way.
Handle bookings/reservations for restaurant and manage outside catering events for parties, functions, and special occasions.
Coordinates with clients to understand their needs, menu choices, and event details.
Manage opening or closing duties and cash-up/transactions if necessary.
Supervise staff during outside catering service to make sure everything runs smoothly.
Skill Set
Prior experience in a similar role.
Strong leadership and people-management skills.
Good organisational skills and the ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure.
Excellent customer service skills.
