Hours: 12 hours per weekContract: Permanent Salary: JG4, SCP7 (£26,403) – SCP11 (£28,142)Actual Salary: £7,521.46 - £8,016.85 per annum, pro rataStart Date: As soon as possible, subject to pre employment checksThe RoleWinford Church of England Primary School, member of the Lighthouse Schools Partnership is seeking to appoint a Finance Administrator to join our friendly and committed team. The Finance Administrator is responsible for undertaking a range of administrative and financial duties that support the organisation and management of the school in a positive and effective way whilst adhering to the Trust financial policies and procedures.The successful candidate will be expected to:Contribute and support with audit programmes, working closely with the Trust’s Central Team.Administer and monitor income due/collected by to the school, invoicing providers e.g. letting fees and chasing debts, in line with school/Trust policies.Raise payments of invoices after delivery of goods or service ensuring accuracy and all paperwork is in place and submitted to the Trust's Central Team for BACs payment runs.Administration of parent pay including issuing activation lettersHandle all duties relating to the processing of suppliers, orders, invoices/credit notes and credit card transaction via the finance accounting system, including dealing with queries and administering petty cash.Manage the financial elements of trips, admissions, charity events and lettings.Administer and maintain assets including the fixed asset register and security marking equipmentAdminister and maintain the register of Business and Pecuniary Interests and Gifts and HospitalityMonitor the cost and usage of utilities such as electricity and waterTake delivery of orders and check delivery notesOther financial administration required by the HeadteacherWe offer:Enthusiastic and happy children.Good opportunities for individual growth and development.Supportive staff, governors, parents and communityCollaborative working within our Trust community to support our endeavours to work smarter.Access to wellbeing support24-hour confidential helpline and counsellingHealthcare cash planCycle to Work and Electric Vehicle SchemeDiscount retail platform with access to hundreds of discounts.Our School Our school has a caring and friendly atmosphere with most of our families living in Winford and surrounding Chew Valley villages.
