Special Needs Support Assistant - Litchard Primary School
Job description
27.5 Hours per week
Term Time Only
Temporary up to 31st August 2026
An enthusiastic, motivated and committed person is required to support children with additional needs as a Special Needs Support Assistant.
The successful candidate would need to have flexibility of hours to meet pupil need of the school which may include additional hours in the morning and afternoons.
The number of hours would be linked directly to supporting children and could change.
Some experience of working with children and young people who have additional needs would be an advantage.
The ability to greet customers through the medium of Welsh is a requirement for this post.
Protecting children, young people or adults at risk is a core responsibility of all council employees.
An Enhanced with Childrens Barred list criminal records check by the Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) is a requirement for this post.
