Contract Type: Temporary (in the first instance)Hours: Part Time 6 hours per week (worked Monday to Thursday).
Location of post: Ysgol Hendrefelin – Bryncoch UnitTo start as soon as possible, the Governing Body wish to appoint a caring, motivated Dining Assistant to provide food for the pupils that attend our Residential Unit. The Residential Unit is an extension of the school where pupils with Additional Learning Needs stay the night to develop and enhance their life skills. This role involves preparing evening tea for the pupils, for which, you will have access to the school kitchen.
The hours of work would be 2.30pm until 4pm Monday to Thursday and will be term time only.
This position is temporary in the first instance (with a view to becoming permanent)
The successful candidate will:
• Have Level 2 in food hygiene / safety and catering or be willing to attend training for this qualification.
• Be enthusiastic about working with children.
• Be sensitive to the needs of pupils with additional needs.
• Undertake relevant paperwork.
• Ensure compliance of Health and Safety and Food Safety Regulations
