Summary
To lead and manage the stroke speech and language therapists that work with stroke patients within the community and inpatient stroke rehab unit. Provide holistic assessment and evidence-based rehabilitation to stroke patients to enable them to achieve their best potential. Contribute to the evidence-based development and evaluation of the SLT practice provided by the service. To maintain accurate comprehensive and contemporaneous documentation/patient records in line with legal requirements and Trust guidelines including personally generated clinical assessments-treatment requiring computer skills. To demonstrate a high level of SLT stroke skills and act as a source of expertise on stroke patients management.
