Summary
Clinical Responsibilities/Key Responsibilities - To provide high quality nursing care whilst working within limitations of the role and understanding how to escalate when required. - To work effectively as a member of the multidisciplinary team - Maintain and develop high standards of care - Work proactively to ensure that all patients expectations and needs are met within a timely manner - Respond to emergency situations with composure, maintaining patient safety and seeking immediate support whilst supporting the patient, family and other staff as required. - The ability to maintain clear, accurate and concise patient records in keeping with departmental and professional standards. - Report near misses and untoward incidents, complaints, emergencies, injury or medication efforts via the trust reporting system and assist lead staff in investigating as required.
