Summary

The Role

As a Plant Operative, you will report to the Production Supervisor and be a key member of one of the production shift teams. The role will require a hands-on approach, as well as learning plant operations.
Your responsibilities will include:
•Carrying out plant routines and ensuring adherence to operational procedures.
•Maintaining cleanliness of the plant mechanism, plant area, adjacent buildings, and equipment.
•Conducting regular inspections, cleaning, and maintenance in line with site instructions.
•Operating plant machinery, including asphalt batching and mixing equipment.
•Assisting with the loading and unloading of materials.
•Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
•Monitoring production levels and assisting with stock control.
•Working closely with the production team to meet customer demands.
