Summary
Are you an experienced and certified telehandler driver looking for a stable, long-term contract to kick off the New Year? We are recruiting for a significant construction project located right in Alloa Town Centre.
The Role and Responsibilities:Working on a major development in an urban setting requires precision, safety, and excellent spatial awareness. Your key duties will include:
- Safe and efficient operation of the telehandler, including transporting, lifting, and accurately positioning materials (e.g., steel, cladding, bricks) to various work zones.
- Loading and unloading delivery vehicles promptly and securely, managing site logistics effectively.
- Performing mandatory daily pre-start safety checks and ensuring the machine is well-maintained.
- Adhering strictly to lifting plans and managing movements in constrained working areas common in a town centre environment.
- Compliance with all site Health & Safety procedures.
- A valid CPCS or NPORS telehandler certification is mandatory.
- A valid CSCS Card is essential for site access.
- Proven experience operating a Telescopic Handler, preferably on a large-scale commercial or urban construction site.
- Strong understanding of load safety, signalling, and working at height procedures.
- Commitment to the long-term duration of the contract.
- High level of reliability and excellent site communication skills.
- Full UK driving licence.
