Summary

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated individual to join our busy team for a 12-month period to cover maternity leave as a Band 6 Senior Anaesthetic Technical Officer.

This vital role provides technical expertise and support to anaesthetists and theatre staff, ensuring the safe and effective use of anaesthetic equipment and IT systems. You will be responsible for the setup, maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment, providing training to staff, and ensuring compliance with NHS and regulatory standards.

The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in medical equipment and/or healthcare IT systems, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced clinical environment. Experience in an NHS or healthcare setting is desirable.

You will be mainly based at workshops at our Oxford Road Campus but will need to be flexible as you will also be working at Trafford Hospital and North Manchester General Hospital.
