As part of a planned period of growth and the opening of a new home, our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Manager to join their close-knit team in Maidstone, Kent.
The Role
As Registered Manager, you will take full responsibility for the day-to-day running of the home, ensuring the highest standards of emotional and physical care for young people. This includes creating a safe, supportive environment enriched with meaningful activities and high-quality accommodation.
You will:
-Build, lead, and inspire a high-performing team that embodies the organisation’s core values: passion, collaboration, transparency, and continuous learning.
-Provide strong staff support through effective induction, supervision, performance management and communication.
-Oversee compliance with all company policies and procedures, including safeguarding, health and safety, financial management, and administrative processes.
-Champion professional development, team cohesion, and a positive culture within the home.
What We’re Looking For
-Level 3 Diploma in Children’s Residential Childcare (minimum).
-Commitment to achieving or already holding the Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare.
-Proven experience as a Registered Manager in a children’s home rated ‘Good’ or ‘Outstanding’.
-Strong leadership abilities, excellent communication skills, and a passion for creating an enriching home environment.
-A commitment to safeguarding, professional integrity, and child-centred practice.
The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping the future development, leadership, and success of the home.
