Summary
About the Role and our Ideal Candidate
The role is a standalone, part time (18 hours per week) administration role, providing business support functions to the Community Safety Team and wider community safety partnership. The position holder will coordinate a wide range of operational and strategic partnership meetings on behalf of the team.
The key duties involved are:
- Collation and distribution of meeting agendas/papers
- Recording and distribution of minutes
- Management of team inboxes
The hours of this role will be spread across three days within our core hours. Monday-Wednesday or Tuesday-Thursday 10-4.
About you
You will be experienced in providing administrative support to a team- experience of working in a local government or partnership service setting would be advantageous.
You will need excellent minute taking skills for a variety of strategic and operational meetings.
Excellent computer skills and communication skills.
Use of Google systems (desirable).

Sutton's Community Safety Team is a small team based in Sutton Police Station one day a week and hybrid working on other days. The team is part of the Integrated Support & Safer Communities service within Sutton Children's Services- People Directorate. The team works closely with the Metropolitan Police and a range of partners and organisations to improve safety for residents and visitors within the London Borough of Sutton.
