A Vacancy at The Shrewsbury and Telford Hospital NHS Trust.

We are looking to recruit a Trainee ACP (Advanced Clinical Practitioner) to The Shrewsbury and Telford Hospital NHS Trust.

This exciting and challenging role will be part of the non-medical workforce within Gastroenterology services and be part of the wider medical team. This speciality already has many advanced and non- medical practitioners working within this department.

This will include leading on ward-based care, outpatient clinics and developing a speciality procedure skill to help outpatient services on qualification.

As a Trainee ACP, you will be part of a wider ACP team on a structured academic and clinical training programme and be expected to gain a full Master’s Degree in Advanced Clinical Practice including a non-medical prescribing qualification.

As a Trainee ACP, you will work alongside fellow clinicians to provide care in the Trust and we anticipate that you will have a significant presence clinically and will eventually provide enhanced levels of care.

** Please note that the Masters level qualification for this post will be funded through the apprenticeship levy and therefore the following criteria must be met:
• GCSE Grade 9 - 4 (A* - C) or equivalent in Maths and English Language. *
• Must not be on an Apprenticeship or any other Government funded training.
• Must not have a qualification at the same or higher level in the same vocational area.
• Has been a UK resident for 3 or more years or meets the eligible and valid residency status and permission to work in the UK criteria in Annex A of the linked funding document: 2223_Employer_Rules_Version_1_Final.pdf (publishing.service.gov.uk)

The Shrewsbury and Telford Hospital NHS Trustcan offer you great career prospects and a fantastic work-life balance.
