Summary

Leeds Arts University is the only specialist arts university in the North of England. We have contributed significantly to the development of arts education for over 180 years, and have developed a national and international reputation based on the achievements of our students and staff.

We are looking for a dynamic self-starter, experienced in alumni relations, fundraising or comparable activities to continue the development of the University's alumni relations programme. You will be expected to develop and deliver plans which lead to greater interaction with alumni and you will provide a central focus across the University for all alumni activities. This includes identifying new alumni activities, acting as the co-ordinator for all alumni contacts and providing a critical link between current students and alumni.

The main purpose of the role is to co-ordinate the alumni relations programme; maintain and grow the alumni database, the organising and execution of events, identifying donor opportunities, developing newsletters and other communications, and identifying potentially beneficial linkages between specific teaching or research goals of the University and the interests of alumni.

The successful candidate will be educated to degree level or equivalent, have experience in alumni relations, fundraising or comparable activities, and have skills in customer relationship management, events management, marketing, communications and copy writing. A degree in a creative arts related subject or working in a related field would be desirable.

Full details of the essential requirements for the role can be found in the job description.
