Summary
The post will be based at the Medway NHS Foundation Trust Hospital, although you will be expected to work at any of the Trusts sites ( Sittingbourne and Sheppey Hospital) . The job is a combined Obstetrics and Gynaecology rota. On call are full shifts. You will be supported by On call consultant who is resident on site 08.30 hrs 21.30 hrs andnon resident from 21.30 08.30hrs. There is routine ward work, Consultant rounds, antenatal clinics, gynaecology outpatient clinics and operating sessions. We have Medical students from Kings College School of Medicine, and Kent and Medway Medical School. Post holder is expected to actively participate in teaching for these medical students. Post holder should actively participate in the different multidisciplinary meetings in the department. (CTG meetings, Audit, Perinatal, etc)
