Summary
Successful candidates need to hold a BSc/MSc in Physiotherapy and be HCPC registered. Candidates will have a proven history of providing patient-centred care within physiotherapy service. It is important for candidates to be able to communicate effectively with all disciplines involved in a patients care both those from within the organisation and those outside to ensure effective multidisciplinary working, while maintaining accurate patient records in line with the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy standards and Trust and service standards and policies. To ensure timely and effective communication with the clinical/therapy leads and senior staff on all professional matters. There is a need to attend staff meetings and actively participate ensuring understanding of information imparted. Additionally, to engage within the departmental objectives to progress the physiotherapy service. To work under the supervision of a clinical specialist physiotherapists to apply clinical skills in assessment, treatment and evaluation in line with the iMSK pathways.
