We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated Conference & Banqueting Supervisor to join our team. In this role, you will take responsibility for leading the team during shifts, ensuring the smooth running of conferences, meetings, events and weddings. You will oversee set-up, service and delivery to the highest standards, creating memorable experiences for our guests.

As a role model, you will demonstrate professionalism, teamwork and excellent customer service, setting the tone for the team and supporting their development.
What you’ll be doing:
• Lead and co-ordinate our Conference & Banqueting team, ensuring every event – from meetings to weddings – runs seamlessly and reflects the high standards our guests and hotel expect.
• Organise, brief and prepare the team ahead of each shift, making sure everyone is confident and ready to deliver exceptional service.
• Welcome guests with warmth and professionalism, providing attentive service throughout their event.
• Demonstrate expert knowledge of our menus, wine list and hotel facilities, ensuring you and your team can confidently assist guests.
• Train, coach and inspire the team to consistently deliver first-class service, encouraging strong communication across all departments to create a flawless guest experience.
• Support the F&B management team with creative upselling initiatives, motivating the team to boost revenue in a subtle, guest-focused way.
• Resolve minor queries or complaints calmly and professionally, referring to management where required.
• Contribute to cost control by using resources efficiently and responsibly.
• Work closely with the wider F&B management team to achieve departmental goals and financial targets.
About you
You should have strong food and beverage service experience, ideally at supervisory level, although we will consider applicants who can demonstrate their ability and drive to move to the next level in their hospitality careers. You should also have excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate and engage effectively at all levels, be able to work on your own initiative, stay calm under pressure and have the ability and willingness to put the guest at the heart of everything you do.
