St Mary's Hospital on the Isles of Scilly is currently looking for friendly, adaptable and committed Healthcare Assistants to work with the Inpatient and Community Nursing Teams.

St Mary’s Hospital has a number of inpatient beds, an Outpatient Department, Community nursing team and a Minor Injury Unit providing 24-hour nurse led care with 24-hour medical expertise provided by resident GP's

As aBank Healthcare Assistant (HCA),you will provide high-quality care, helping adult patients recover from illness or surgery. You will work closely with registered nurses and other healthcare professionals

• To assist in the delivery of clinical care, planned and assessed by the Registered Nurses.
• To carry out care/other duties under indirect supervision of a Registered Nurse and/or Senior Health Care Assistant.
• Support care on a day-to-day basis for all patients in the clinical area in a manner sensitive to the individual client’s needs and wishes, acknowledging their rights and beliefs at all times.
• Contribute to resource management within the clinical area.
