We’re looking for a motivated and experienced Finance Manager to lead our Finance Processing Team and support both internal colleagues and external stakeholders, including academies and central teams. This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of key financial processes, drive improvements, and contribute to meaningful work that supports schools and students.
You don’t need to have worked in education before - full training will be provided by our supportive and knowledgeable team. If you’re passionate about finance, process improvement, and leading a team, we’d love to hear from you.
Job Purpose:
- Managing and maintaining the purchase ordering system.
- Leading improvements to financial processes and systems.
- Supporting academies with credit control and financial queries.
- Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
- Leading, developing, and supporting the Finance Processing Team.
- Building strong relationships with key stakeholders across the Trusts and academies.
What We’re Looking For:
- At least three years’ experience in a finance role.
- A Level 4 AAT qualification is desirable (but not essential).
- A proactive, solutions-focused mindset and a collaborative approach.
