Summary
Holt Engineering are recruiting for a Driver to join a manufacturing business in Farnborough, As the Driver you will play a key role within the distribution side of the business supporting the production team.
As the Driver your duties will involve:
- Ensure all goods and materials received are checked, identified, recorded, and stored to the correct procedures
- Multi Drop driving (Across the UK)
- To ensure that minimum stock levels of all consumable items be maintained and order all items when necessary.
- Respond to requests for the issue of stock as required and ensure the correct procedure is followed.
- Ensuring the security of stock at all times and allowing only Authorised Personnel into the stores.
- To carry out regular stock-taking.
- Updating the computerised stock records i.e., receipts and issues, and maintaining computer stock records using a networked terminal provided to a product
To be considered for this Driver role you must have experience in the following
- Good attention to detail.
- Be computer literate
- A full UK Clean driving license
- Must be over 25 years old for insurance reasons
For this Driver role you will need to be flexible with start and finish times due to travel, there will be no over night stays.
